Latino Student Fund Annual Gala

Event FAQ’s
The Latino Student Fund’s Annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser of year and we are thrilled to host it at the Washington National Cathedral. 

We look forward to spending an evening enjoying cocktails, a seated dinner, live performances, and silent and live auctions. In addition to fundraising for the LSF programs, we are delighted to share with you our goal of providing opportunities for a strong academic foundation to underserved students.

What is the timeline for the evening?
6:00 PM – Cocktail reception and silent auction

8:00 PM – Seated Dinner, Music, Program and Live Auction
10:00 PM – Gala Concludes
Directions and Parking  
The auction will take place at the Washington National Cathedral,  which is located at 3101 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016.

The parking garage will be open for guests attending the LSF Gala, and there is also street parking available. Everyone is encouraged to have a fun and safe evening. 

We are pleased to have UBER as a sponsor of this year’s event. As part of Uber’s commitment to supporting the community and the 24th Annual Latino Student Fund, Uber is providing a promo code  for UberX or UberXL trips up to $20 per ride per Uber account, valid until 2 am on April 20. 2023. What is the Attire for the Evening?
The dress-code for the evening is black tie optional. Men typically wear a dark suit and tie or tuxedo, while women wear a formal evening gown or cocktail dress.
What is the Silent Auction?
The silent auction includes a wide range of exciting items including sports; entertainment; dining; travel and getaway; healthy, wellness and beauty; one-of-a-kind experiences and much more. The Greater Giving mobile/online bidding platform will be used for the silent auction. Guests will bid using their smartphones. Bidding opens on Wednesday, April 19 at 6 pm and will close at 7:50 pm. What is the Live Auction?
Guests will be assigned a bid number given a bid card at registration. The live auction will occur during the dinner and Steve Little will be our auctioneer. Live auction items may be previewed in the auction catalog or on the online bidding platform.
What is Fund-a-Student?
This highlight of the evening takes place during the live auction and is an opportunity for everyone to make a fully tax-deductible contribution to support LSF programs.
