Latino Student Fund Annual Gala
The Latino Student Fund’s Annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser of year and we are thrilled to host it at the Washington National Cathedral.
We look forward to spending an evening enjoying cocktails, a seated dinner, and silent and live auctions. In addition to fundraising for the LSF programs, we are delighted to share with you our goal of providing opportunities for a strong academic foundation to underserved students.

What is the timeline for the evening?
6:00 PM – Cocktail reception and silent auction
8:00 PM – Seated Dinner, Music, Program and Live Auction
10:00 PM – Gala Concludes
Directions and Parking
The auction will take place at the Washington National Cathedral, located at 3101 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016.
The parking garage will be open for guests attending the LSF Gala, and there is also street parking available. Everyone is encouraged to have a fun and safe evening.
What is the Attire for the Evening?
The dress-code for the evening is black tie optional. Men typically wear a dark suit and tie or tuxedo, while women wear a formal evening gown or cocktail dress.
What is the Silent Auction?
The silent auction includes a wide range of exciting items including sports; entertainment; dining; travel and getaway; health, wellness and beauty; one-of-a-kind experiences and much more! The Greater Giving mobile/online bidding platform will be used for the silent auction, and guests can bid using their smartphones. Bidding opens on Tuesday, April 23 at 6 pm and will close at 7:50 pm. You may preview last year's items here.
What is the Live Auction?
Guests will be assigned a bid number given a bid card at registration. The live auction will occur during the dinner. Live auction items may be previewed in the auction catalog or on the online bidding platform.
What is Fund-a-Student?
The highlight of the evening takes place during the live auction and is an opportunity for everyone to make a fully tax-deductible contribution to support LSF programs.

The mission of the Latino Student Fund (LSF) is to provide opportunities for a strong
academic foundation for underserved PreK-12th grade to promote higher education
and professional leadership.
The LSF was founded in 1994 to address the growing high school dropout rates among
Latino students in Washington, DC. Over the years, we have continued to develop and
expand our services to meet the evolving educational needs of the Latino community
in the Greater Washington region.
